Rofin SC Series
With Low Powers for Industrial Use

The revolutionary Slab-principle of the SC Series, with output powers from 100 up to 600 watts, rounds down the powerful spectrum of the CO2 laser range available from ROFIN. The SC lasers are completely sealed off so there is no need for gas recirculation equipment such as vaccum pumps or pressure control systems. As gas exchange is unnecessary before 16,000 operational hours, the running, maintenance and service costs are minimal. The complete range of SC lasers use a single resonator design producing laser light with a linear polarization. This linearly polarized beam enables protection against back reflection and makes the use in cutting machines particularly easy.

Rofin DS Series
High Reliability Thanks to Modern Stack Management

The DS Series is the new generation of diode-pumped disc lasers offered by ROFIN.With a beam quality of 7 or 8 mm*mrad, the DS laser can produce very small spot sizes with long focal lengths. These features, combined with output powers ranging from 750 to 3,000 Watts, allow for an extensive range of industrial application processing like cutting of glass or welding of automotive parts. Flexibility in system integration is enhanced with the availability of optional beam switching, energy sharing, and fiber lengths of up to 100 meters and diameters of 150, 200, and 300 μm. The diode stack management increases laser uptime and minimizes laser diode replacement cost resulting in long lifetime and reliability.

DC Series
Highest Reliability – Lowest Maintenance Effort

Cutting, welding or surface treatment – the diffusion-cooled CO2 Slab laser from ROFIN is the perfect tool for a wide variety of applications. The trend-setting principle of the Slab laser provides highest reliability. The laser operates with only a few extremely durable components and does not need conventional gas recirculation – leading to a considerable reduction of maintenance and service.
The gas consumption is also minimized: the gas bottle, integrated in the laser head, lasts for up to 15 months. In addition, the excellent beam quality of K = 0.95 makes the fastest cuts and deepest weld seams. With its excellent attributes and high efficiency, the ROFIN Slab laser has become a mainstream tool in countless production lines around the world.

Rofin FL Series
Perfect Beam Quality for Every Application

The high brightness fiber lasers of the ROFIN FL Series are the ideal addition to compliment the range of lasers currently offered by ROFIN. With their high performance, they are suitable for classical cutting and welding applications as well as for new applications such as the Remote Cutting. The emitted wavelength in the range of 1 μm achieves high absorption in many materials. All common solid-state laser applications can be performed using the FL Series laser. With the multi-mode version of the FL laser, fiber optics of 50 to 600 μm can be used. The single-mode version produces exceptionally good beam quality, typically in the range of ≤ 0.4 mm x mrad. The excellent beam quality also allows the efficient use of “dynamic beam” scanner systems for high-speed positioning as well as the fast and precise application of small geometries at workpieces. This reduces cycle times and increases productivity.
